DirecWay satellite subscribers cannot get Blackthorne to connect to eBay. Item submissions, refreshes, etc., would result in an endless loop of authorization screens.
DirecWay users running with DW4000 modems use a proxy server to connect to the internet. The authorization process does not work through a proxy server.
Tell Windows to bypass the proxy server when connecting to eBay through Blackthorne.
Click on Start and select Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, choose Internet Options.
On the Internet Options window, select the Connections tab.
Click the LAN Settings button. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window will appear.

You should already have the "Use a proxy server for your lan..." box checked and an address and port specified in the Proxy Server group box. Click the Advanced button to open the Proxy Settings window.

To the Exceptions group, add "https://api.ebay.com" and "https://ebay.com" . If you have other entries in this box already, separate them with a ";".
Click OK to save and exit.
Another solution would be to upgrade to the DW6000 or DW7000 modem available from DirecWay. These modems do not require a proxy server.
