ladies and gentlemen, I have been using BT for years but never imported from a flat file, I have used cvs and txt and BT more often than not does not recognize the first row as the field names and therefore doesnt auto map, neither can I manually map. I am running the latest version of BT on windows 7 if that makes any difference. Thanks

Does the Excel contain item data for title, description, price and cost?
To use the file with Blackthorne you need to save the Excel file as a "tab delimited file".
The Import in Blackthorne is located under “File-Import-Import from Flat File”.

Leslie, thank you... I read many other posts about importing from cvs file. I saved the template as tab delimited txt and BT consumed all the fields correctly.
Thank you Again...
