Hi Kevin,

That is a good post for the cause/fix for the issue "you must upgrade to 135 error". However, the post contains an upgrade for 3.2.184. Here is more recent info for the update.

Error "you must first upgrade to 3.2.135" is usually related to a “Data” folder appearing in the program folder for Blackthorne, the data folder was moved to the Windows User application data folder in 2006. If the new install finds a Data folder it will show this error.

1. I suggest backing up your current database.
• Go to "Tools-Database Administration" to create a backup, note the name and path so you know the latest backup.

2. Uninstall Blackthorne.
• Windows Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel

3. Delete the Blackthorne program folder in
• C:\Program Files\eBay

Now download and install the latest upgrade.

Please go to the following URL to do so:
http://www.blackthornesw.com/download/InstalleBayBlackthorne.exe

Choose "save" or "save file to disk", select a location to download the file to and click "save" to start the download. Once the download is complete, “run” it to install the program.

Do Not choose to remove prior data during the install.

Note: After installing the upgrade and opening Blackthorne you should see category file update window, please let the files update.
After categories are updated, close and open Blackthorne.

If you need to Manually Update Categories:
To update your categories and item specifics, please go up to the "Refresh" menu and select
"Update eBay categories and Item specifics". You'll see a message popup for the refresh of categories.

On a high speed connection it could take 20 to 30 minutes to update so wait for the category update to finish.

Once you have the latest version 4.03.019 and categories are updated, here are details for using the new “Item Condition” on your items.

Item condition bulk changes are a different menu option from the standard bulk changes fields and bulk change for item specifics:

To use the new “Item Condition” feature:

Select the records you "need" to change or set item condition on.
Depending on if you are in Monitor Listings or Create Items use:
Create Items:
Item Actions-Bulk Change Item Condition
Monitor Listings:
Listing Actions-Bulk Change Item Condition

If the selected group of listings differs in categories, you should see a “Arrow” button in the upper right of the “Item Condition” window to move to the next category condition.
Regards,

Leslie
