lost all my information, templates, new unlisted etc. What did I do wrong and can it be fixed?

For some reason the update changed the default database. If completely empty, its probably a copy of a starter dB.
The change might have happened if your last active dB was NOT located at the expected default.
The active dB, is of course, the one listed at the top of the program screen.

If you can, go to Tools-Database Administration. Click 'Restore Now' and browse to the backup you should have manually made right before upgrading. OR to the last auto daily backup. One probably made within the past 24 hours.
If these aren't current enough, search your local drive for BTData.* to locate any/all possible dBs.

It might be necessary to unhide file locations to find all dBs.

Thanks was able to retrive all my info and some of my new unlisted items. Hurray!
