I cant submit now either. My listings just say SUBMITTING in the yellow box. No error recorded but no listing either. I just read here that if you run SQL and have done a database repair on version.012 then the item condition field has been removed by the repair process. This is an error fixed in latest version. Apparently with it being the 27th, deadline for including this, it must be set now. Preparing to upgrade now. Or is it something else ?? |

I am getting the same error ... my item specific CONDITION is set for NEW, yet it shows this error# when I submit with preview. --- scrill ... I have gotten the 'stuck' submitting notice as well. A listing error caused the problem. You will need to relist the item, but do a 'submit with preview' first. BT will tell you the error. Keith aka xcergy |

You are setting the Item Condition (the new field in Item Details) as opposed to Condition (the Item Specific)? They are not the same, detailed here: http://www.blackthornesw.com/discus/messages/17/80733.html?1277772251 |

AH HA! Thank you Bart. I found it. Gee. Nice to know that NOW I have to revise ALL of my listings when I THOUGHT I was prepared for this launch date of Item Specifics (all my listings stated the proper condition BEFORE this change.) This is poor programming if you ask me. There is no need for this duplication and extra work required. For a company that DEMANDS perfection of it's sellers, eBay does a HORRID job of leading by example [end rant] |

I also keep getting the same error but I don't seem to have a Condition field available for my category. I am listing is DVD/Laserdisc category and I only have item specific condition. I don't seem to have a global Condition field available to me in Blackthorne? |

Are you running the latest version? The new Item Condition field is only available above version 04.03.006. |

Check out the screenshot here, it shows where you should be seeing the new field below the category selector - http://www.blackthornesw.com/discus/messages/17/80733.html?1277772251 |

I've looked at the screen shot and followed the message at the beginning of the post and the Item Condition field is not shown in my Item Details. I see item specifics all day long but no Item Condition field. Can this field be hidden somehow? I'm running the right version of Blackthorne Pro and I even get the Item Condition column (which at this point is blank all the way down) and yet I can't see the Item Condition field anywhere in the Item Details page. Please help. This is frustrating! |

Ok. Here is a little more info. I get the Item Condition field displayed when I select an ebay motors category (as an example), but it disappears when I select my category (dvd/laserdisc). This tends to leave me to believe the the Item Category field is not required for the particular category. If this is the case, then why I am still getting this error 21916884 'Condition is required...' when I try to submit? I am really frustrated. I thought that fixing the items specifics was the ticket to these condition issues, but that does not seem to have any effect on anything I do. Help! |

Never mind. I found out what the problem was. After I did a full category refresh the Item Category field started to appear as it should. Boy what a pain. This is why I did not want to change a working system and I have yet to do any edits. I sure hope things work better than this here on out. Thanks for the help. Chris. |
