Ok, I've been having several problems, but this is by far the worst.

Over the last few days, eB has not been properly importing sales information. To try to fix this, I decided to check that eB had proper authorization from my sellers (I have 3 seller accounts I manage with eB). So the window pops up with eBay inside of it, and I put my seller ID, and my password, submit it, agree to the terms, and it tells me " Authorization successfully completed." then I click "Done on the eB window.

The window then closes, and opens right back up asking for the user id and password again. I did this for all 3 sellers, and it just keeps popping up. it is an endless loop.

This endless loop is so bad that I have to close the program through the task manager, because it doesn't let me do anything else.

I have closed the program and re-opened it, same problem, I have even uninstalled eB, then reinstalled it (opening the same files), and as eB tries to download the updated item catagories, the window comes back, asking for the endless loop of signing in again.

I hope I have clearly explained what is happening, please let me know if you need more info about what is happening, and please help me to fix this quickly.

Thank you in advance!

I have the exact same problem. Just upgraded to the latest version of Blackthorne. When I installed it I got a database error that said the field named condition needed to be renamed but we have other machines that are using the database with no problem, so I uninstall-ed Blackthorne and removed the user data with the plan to set Blackthorne up again from scratch and reconnect to the database after I installed the updated version of Blackthorne however I can't get past the endless login loop. Any help would be appreciated.

Another thing that I find strange is after logging into eBay for the first time every time since then when it brings up the screen to enter my eBay user name and password it has my password in the login field. It does not matter how many times I correct it the password always shows up in the login field when the login screen pops back up.

If Blackthorne does not succeed in getting a "token" via the Authorization" window, this same window will continue to pop up.

You should look to a connection issue.

Not being able to connect to the eBay servers - is sometimes typical after an update to a higher version.

It is most likely your firewall - even though you may have attempted to revise it.

Sometimes, if you close Blackthorne, then remove Blackthorne (or BT.exe) from your firewall's exception list (a list that shows what programs your firewall is allowing), then open Blackthorne, the firewall should prompt you to a question to allow Blackthorne.

Here is some more information on connection issues:

In Blackthorne, go to "Help-Support-Connection" and click the "Test Connection to eBay" button - wait for success/unsuccessful. If the test is unsuccessful, then something - firewall or anti-spyware - is blocking Blackthorne's access
to the Internet. For information on common firewall settings, please visit the link below.
