Prostores Issues with Blackthorne

Ok, so I have been using prostores for a couple of months, and I have some questions and issues about using it with blackthorne. I really like the idea of downloading all of my orders into one system, but so far it has not proven to be very easy.

1) For prostores customers, when their order is downloaded, many times their email address is not, so I cannot notify them about the status of their order. Am I doing something wrong?

2) No back and forth with prostores. When I mark an order shipped, on blackthorne, it does not mark the item shipped on prostores. Also, the tracking number is not added to the prostores listing. Is there a way to change this?

3) Orders are placed into payment received, regardless of whether payment is actually received. Is there a way to change this?

4) Ebay items and prostores items do not sync. I currently list items directly to ebay with EB, and then let prostores import the items from ebay. When I sell an item on prostores, it ends the item on ebay (good) but it puts it into a category which may end up with the item being relisted (like relist not sold, or no bids). Is there a way to fix this?

All of the items that I sell are unique, and my goal is to double face the items, both on prostores, and on ebay. If I create the item, with an inventory of 1, and list to ebay, then I will not be able to list to prostores, and vice versa. Currently, I do not use EB to manage inventory for 99% of my items, because so many of the items are unique.

Is there a better way to double face the items, and take advantage of the power of EB? This is very frustrating, because EB is so good at managing ebay transactions, I just want to harness that power into prostores, and run one shipping queue. Is that possible? Hope that I am being clear, and I look forward to the help...

I called prostores, and they told me that this is an EB issue, and that I had to bring it up with EB support. I hope that I receive an answer!

Though I only use Blackthorne to handle my post sales ProStores activities, I am bothered by the same issues as described here. I am filing these bugs with both Blackthorne and ProStores. I do not want to use ProStores' web interface for processing my orders, and I'm not giving up!

Same, we like prostores, but the problems with it require the same amount of attention/time as a phone order, either way the FVF are allot nicer! just wish we didn't have to watch in like a hawk.

As of August 3rd the BT developers were working with the ProStores team on some of these issues. (I experienced missing orders in addition to missing email addresses and other significant problems). For a few days last week it looked like the email address problem was solved, but I can't confirm that because now BT doesn't seem to be picking up any orders at all. I'm optimistic though! Be sure to file the bugs with ProStores support, too.

I am impressed with how the information gets around :-). Yes, we are working on fixing some Prostores bugs that were reported earlier. We'll do our best to fix as many as we can, however we do have some high priority bugs that will need to get fixed too in the next version.
